Barbara has been making and supplying Jersey wonders for decades now, honing her recipe and technique which all started in the family farm kitchen.

A traditional Jersey recipe passed down from generation to generation, the Jersey wonder is a sweet dough made with flour, sugar, butter and eggs then twisted and cooked in oil. The twist and recipe can vary from parish to parish.

Barbara was encouraged for many years to branch out and to bring Jersey wonders to locals and tourists alike. She subsequently supplied and became involved with Jersey tourist attractions such as the Jersey War Tunnels, noticing a big demand for this local delicacy.

This brought her to launch Wonders by Babs which aims to not only supply delicious Jersey Wonders to those who want them but also keep this traditional Jersey delicacy alive for generations to come.
