After a successful Summer series of Genuine Jersey’s monthly St Aubin’s Artisan Markets, sponsored by Hepburns and MasonBreese, the association is hosting a special one off indoor Autumn Market on Saturday 19th October.
The artisans’ market will feature some of Jersey’s most talented producers, artists and craftspeople displaying their wares, all of which are created by them.
Genuine Jersey Chief Executive John Garton said: “This summer we held our artisans’ markets every two weeks inside and outside St Aubin’s Parish Hall, and they have, once again, been hugely successful. They not only bring our Members together but they also offer locals and visitors alike the chance to meet the makers behind the products they’re buying.
This one off Autumn market, held inside the Parish Hall, is a great opportunity for people to either start getting their Christmas Shopping underway, or just a fantastic chance to buy direct from the makers.
The contribution made by our two sponsors, Hepburns and MasonBreese means that we have been able to run the markets more frequently while also keeping the cost to stallholders as low as possible. It has to be said their continued support is invaluable.”
Visitors to the market can browse the stalls of local crafts and produce, and buy fresh local fish and seafood from Jade-S Fisheries who will maintain their regular spot outside the Parish Hall.
